Donatello

Wow, it's been awhile since I've worked on these guys but I finally finished my third portrait - Donatello! I actually started this back in like September but I just couldn't get it to look right. I got most of the face done and other parts fleshed out when I stopped and moved it to the back burner. I finally sat down last week and finished it in about 10 minutes. I dunno if I'm the only one who experiences this but when I'm struggling with a piece I have to leave it alone for awhile - sometimes only a day, other times months - before I can come back and finish it happily. 

I'm hoping to actually record my next painting featuring Michelangelo!
